"When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe." … Frederic Bastiat

Evil talks about tolerance only when it’s weak. When it gains the upper hand, its vanity always requires the destruction of the good and the innocent, because the example of good and innocent lives is an ongoing witness against it. So it always has been. So it always will be. And America has no special immunity to becoming an enemy of its own founding beliefs about human freedom, human dignity, the limited power of the state, and the sovereignty of God. – Archbishop Chaput

Eric King over at King World News and I discuss the metals market along with the Dollar and the mining shares on the Weekly Metals Wrap.

Also, I am not sure why the Followers are missing on my blog. I have noticed that several other blogs appear to be having a similiar problem. Apparently something is wrong with the Google Blogger software. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

Please do not think that I yanked down all the followers! I appreciate all of you.

  1. Enjoyed the metals wrap today!
I had trouble with blogger for a few days and couldn't post, and I think it chewed up my comment from an earlier thread re: your R & R.

Take it easy! I'm relaxing a bit more and losing the intensity a bit....Anything you feel like doing is much appreciated, so don't stress out about cutting back! De-stressing is mandatory!

  2. Dan, these manipulated markets are enough to drive investors and traders crazy. I can't even imagine what it must be like to do what you do and still have the time/energy/care to let the world in on your analysis and observations.

However often (or seldom) you post, we'll read and appreciate. Don't forget to get some R&R and stop to smell the roses.

    Thanks for all.
